ABOUT THE CLUB

Formed in 1989, we are the only official club in the country which caters for all  Cortina models, Mk1 to 5 including Specials, Modified and the P100 Pick Up.  Our aim  is to promote the cars including kit cars based on the Cortina chassis,  and to give  assistance to owners to help them get the most from their Cortina’s.  This means for example, helping to locate parts and giving advice on all aspects  of ownership and maintenance, plus of course giving enthusiasts the chance to  meet others. So if you own a pristine example, a daily run about or are in the  middle of a restoration project, then we are the club for you. Within the club are Area representatives based throughout the country, and specialist registers for each Marque of Cortina with help or advice always on hand. Exclusive  club merchandise is available including T-shirts, sweaters,  DVD’s showing the life of the Cortina and the History behind the success of the 50  years  of Cortinas, other items are available on request. Members also benefit from  discount  on   parts and services from certain suppliers and also classic car insurance.

The club is an international club, open to Cortina owners  within the U.K, Europe and  beyond, making our presence  felt at both local and national  shows. We organise a stand at many of these shows and all are welcome to come along and display their car whatever its condition, and enjoy a great family day out.

We actively encourage all members of your family, from the young to the not so young to become involved with the club, therefore ensuring good camaraderie.

Two magazines are published each year (spring and autumn) and 6 monthly newsletters during the summer and one in December, all members are encouraged to contribute to all these publications.
